Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn is a role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Black Isle Studios. It is the sequel to Baldur's Gate (1998) and was released for Microsoft Windows in September 2000. Like Baldur's Gate, the game is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, based on the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition rule set.

Baldur's Gate II opens shortly after the events of Baldur's Gate and continues the story of the protagonist, Gorion's Ward, whose unique heritage has now gained them the attention of Jon Irenicus. The game's plot revolves around the protagonist's encounters with Irenicus, and is set south of the events in Baldur's Gate in the country of Amn, mainly in and around the city of Athkatla.

An expansion pack entitled Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, was released on June 21, 2001. Besides adding a large dungeon and enhancements to the game, it concluded the Child of Bhaal saga. Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, an enhanced version of Baldur's Gate II, was released on November 15, 2013. Some ppl say that it adds nothing to the game atleast you can play it on a modern PC and enjoy this rich saga, even on a tablet :)

Unreal is a first-person shooter video game developed by Epic MegaGames and Digital Extremes and published by GT Interactive in April 1998. It was powered by an original game engine that now bears the game's name, and had been in development for over three years in founder Tim Sweeney's garage before the game was released.

The player takes on the part of Prisoner 849, aboard the prison spacecraft Vortex Rikers. During transport to a moon-based prison, the ship is pulled to an uncharted planet before reaching its destination. The ship crash-lands on the lip of a canyon on the planet Na Pali, home of the Nali, a primitive tribal race of four-armed humanoids. The Nali and their planet have been subjugated by the Skaarj, a race of brutish yet technologically advanced reptilian humanoids. Skaarj troops board the downed Vortex Rikers and kill the remaining survivors, except for Prisoner 849, who manages to find a weapon and escape from the ship.
This is the famous beginning of the game were you are flying around the Castle. The Unreal engine brought a host of graphical improvements, including colored lighting. Although Unreal is not the first major release with colored lighting (see Quake II), it is the first to have a software renderer as feature rich as the hardware renderers of the time, including colored lighting and even a limited form of texture filtering. Early pre-release versions of Unreal were based entirely on software rendering.

Visiting outdoor flea market in Oslo ( Ekeberg ) - Retro Hunt

So this summer ( 2016 ) I went to one of the biggest outdoor flea markets in Oslo. In a beautiful area called Ekeberg alot of people get together from all around the country and sell their stuff from the attic or garages, althou there are also alot of professional flea market sellers there aswell :)

I was on a hunt for something cool and cheap to put on display at the museum, but I was abit suprised that there wasn´t much computer stuff there and the ones that sold games or consoles were on the higher end of retail and ebay prices. So there was so "good" deal to be found. But alot of car parts and motocycles were there all over the place, which was fun also.

Half-Life is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Valve, released in 1998 by Sierra Studios for Microsoft Windows. It was Valve's debut product and the first in the Half-Life series. Players assume the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman, who must fight his way out of a secret research facility after a teleportation experiment goes disastrously wrong, fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

Unlike many other games at the time, Half-Life features no cutscenes; the player has uninterrupted control of Freeman, and the story is told through scripted sequences seen through his eyes. Valve co-founder Gabe Newell said the team had wanted to create an immersive world rather than a "shooting gallery".
Half-Life received acclaim for its graphics, realistic gameplay, and seamless narrative. It won over fifty PC "Game of the Year" awards and is often considered one of the greatest games of all time. It influenced first-person shooters for years after its release.

Half-Life: Opposing Force is an expansion pack for Valve Software's science fiction first-person shooter video game Half-Life. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and Valve Corporation and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 19, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999.
