Oldschool RPG gaming on PS4
My favorite genre of games are RPG games with an isometric view on the PC, nothing could be more satisfying than sitting in front of the PC when the family has gone to bed and get sucked into an immersive storyline feeling like you are the one running things. Now when I'm older, working on the PC the entire day I just feel like throwing myself on the couch and playing these types of games on a console in front of a big TV.
In the last year or so we have had two games where I just forget myself in gameplay. The first one is Divinity Original Sin, which I played with my friend in CO-OP mode for almost a whole year. We finished the game and it's been quite many years since I've had as much fun playing a game. When they started promoting the sequel on Kickstarter I quickly secured myself the physical edition with maps, mugs, sticker and what not. I also used to play Wasteland so I decided to give Wasteland 2 a chance when it got released. I can certainly recommend that game even if it is not CO-OP.
Yesterday Torment, Tides of Numenera was released and I quickly decided to grab a physical copy of it in Gamestop. It is a day one edition and comes with a map and some other stuff, that I personally feel should be the standard like it was back in the day. But we are in the year 2017 so you better just grab anything that is not just a digital version in my opinion. I haven't played very far but it looks promising. If you like the good old RPG genre before everything became first person view I recommend these three, the couch and some beverages :)
